Apostle Karen accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age. She answered her call to preach the gospel in October 2000, and has served the body of Christ in many capacities over the past twenty years.  She is an influential and anointed woman of G-d with a mandate to preach and teach the gospel of the Kingdom.

Apostle Karen is the proud mother of one son, Cephas, who is truly an anointed and talented young man. Her parents are Deacon Robert Harden and Minister Joyce Harden. She has one very loving sister, Vickie, who is very active in the ministry of Life Changing Ministries International.

In 2003, Apostle Karen birthed Life Changing Ministries International with the sole mission to serve G-d with her whole life and proclaim the gospel. With the Lord’s leading, Life Changing Ministries International opened its doors for regular worship services and training on September 10, 2011, as a healing place and a training ground for Adonai’s people. In June 2019, Apostle Karen answered the call to plant churches and ministries throughout the world.  In her new apostolic leadership role, she currently serves Life Changing Ministries International as well as two other churches and four ministries. 

Apostle Karen is a successful business and marketing executive as well as a veteran educator. Currently, she is a public health professional with the Virginia Department of Health. She serves local communities throughout the Richmond and Henrico areas that have been greatly impacted by the pandemic.

Apostle Karen is diligent in her educational pursuits. In May 2013, she was conferred a Masters of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Virginia Tech University. In May 2015, Apostle Karen received a Masters of Theological Studies from Liberty University. Her doctorate in Community Care and Counseling: Marriage and Family Cognate was conferred in April 2023. She is currently obtaining her Medical Terminology certification from Rice University.  

Apostle Karen has a powerful prophetic mantle. She also has a burden for hurting men, women and children and is willing to be an instrument of the Lord that leads souls to Christ. She ministers the Word so broken hearts can be healed and the captives can be set free. 

When asked, Apostle said that her favorite scriptures are Proverbs 3:5-6 that states, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.” Her most loved hymn is Blessed Assurance.
